We decided since the Lake decided to lower the water levels today was the perfect day to get some of the underbrush down!
We finally were able to take possession of our new home on today!
Here are a couple of pics to show you around a little ~ you will see it’s a little dated compared to the home we just sold, but there is so much potential for our new home!
It may not look like a fancy entrance to a house on the lake – but one day this foyer will shine!
Yes, most people move in when they close; unfortunately the current owner is unable to move for another month. Since we can’t get started on the inside ~ we decided we could start on the outside. As you will see there is a lot of work to be done; but today was a good start.
We did forget the before picture of this- but the entire side was covered in rust. Peter was able to use RustAid to get rid of the brown crud crawling down the siding.
As he was doing chimney project- I started on the front yard. You can’t see much of a difference – but three bags of leaves and debris were removed just from a small area.
The day we were finally waiting for- the day our Life of Leisure begins!
